Toxic Beach
These were all taken a few years ago at the foggy edge of San Francisco—a quiet little spot notoriously known as Toxic Beach. Here, empty rotten warehouses with broken windows become venues for punk shows. Industrial waste sinks into the soil and rubber tires slowly break down and decay. You can see weeds weaving in and out of the crackly retired buses that once took commuters to and fro. This particular part of Toxic Beach is known as 'The Bus Graveyard'—a place Rayna returns to time and time again to photograph and explore. Unfortunately last time she tried to go back all of the buses were gone, though she never found out where they disappeared to.
